Wildland Hiring PROCESS

Step 1- Submit resume and contact information for 3 references.

Step 2- If qualified, an application will be sent to you via email. Submit all required documents on the checklist. Communicate plans for submitting any missing requirements

Step 3- Upon passing your background check, all wildland fire courses and Arduous Pack Test paperwork will be submitted to a third-party verifier for FFT2 qulification

Step 4- Once verification and all other required tax documents are received, your status is "Active." You are eligible to deploy.

Before deployment, you will have a final phone interview, and motor vehicle report. A negative report does not necessarily disqualify you from employment.
