Professionally Experienced Medical Staff

Wilderness Medics staffs a group of   highly professional medical experts coming from large metropolitan fire departments and EMS services. They have gained quality experience treating patients in the most traumatic and or disaster recovery situations while working in city settings, and are able to bring that knowledge to unconventional wilderness territory. Many of the medical staff members at Wilderness Medics have had previous experience working outdoors to treat victims of natural disasters. Paramedics, EMTs and RNs are passionate about providing life care to individuals in need and are dedicated to providing the best care possible by keeping up with certifications and licensures to legally work in their professions and maintain a proven disaster recovery plan.

They also have specialized training in various areas, including the following:

• Toxicology
• Technical Rescue
• Hazardous Materials
• Urban Search and Rescue
• Type I and Type II Incident Management
• Occupational Health Management

In addition to providing service in natural disaster settings, Wilderness Medics are also able to provide medical support to events ranging from conferences to festivals to sports matches. The larger the event is, the higher the chance that injuries, illnesses or mass casualties can occur. Having a medical team of paramedics, EMTs or RNs on site to provide immediate care in an emergency situation will help to take some of the risk away from your organization and provide safety for all your guests.
